Jersey Government analysis suggests that the construction of offshore wind turbines could provide the island’s economy with an annual boost of around \u00a3250 million when operational. But the report stressed the need to conduct \u201cmore in-depth studies and evaluation as part of building a complete business case.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

The government has put forward proposals to establish 1,000MW offshore<\/a> wind turbines off the coast of Jersey to meet the island’s energy needs and produce electricity for export. They emphasized that it must be privately financed and designed, And it could be ready for use in the early 2030s.<\/p>\n\n

Economic analysis of the wind turbine project:<\/h2>\n\n
